On Wednesday, BCCI’s Twitter handle tweeted a video of the Indian team’s first training session after reaching New York on Monday, May 27, ahead of the much-awaited T20 World Cup in the United States of America and West Indies. Later in the day, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid were also captured getting stuck in heavy rains as they strolled down the city.

In a viral video, the Indian coach and captain are stuck inside a building due to torrential rains while they go out to get acclimatised to the city. A fan outside captured Rohit as he signalled his driver before he and Dravid ran towards the car, trying to protect themselves from the downpour.
