“We’re working on it”: NFL commissioner Roger Goodell revealed that the NFL wants to bring a game to Berlin | NFL News – Times of India
The last game of this year’s international series will be played at Germany’s Allianz Arena in Munich between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers, which will attract almost 70,000 fans. The free-to-air German-language broadcast is making viewing easy and bringing a new generation of NFL enthusiasts in Europe.
This will be the fourth regular-season game hosted in Germany, the first of which took place in 2022 in Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park. Two more will follow this year in 2023. With it being a free-to-air broadcast, it means that early slate games can be seen live followed by another in the later slot, so it’s a rare chance for German fans to experience the NFL live on home soil. But I want to add that does not mean we’re not going to be back in Frankfurt and Munich.”
As per CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones, he NFL is seriously considering Abu Dhabi, along with other slots of their next games to be played, as well as Paris, France, Barcelona, Spain, Rome, Italy, Sydney and Melbourne, and Dublin, Ireland. In fact, even Goodell confirmed the league’s interest in Dublin, saying he has “no doubt” American football will be played there soon enough. “I know the Steelers really wanna go there,” Goodell said. “I have no doubt that we’re going to be playing in Ireland.
