One must find ways to calm the nerves before facing the reigning champions. At least, that’s what the New York Knicks are doing behind the scenes. They are about to face the Boston Celtics in the opening game of the regular season on October 22. It is not hard to guess that the pressure is on the Knickerbockers. However, thanks to their fresh recruit Karl-Anthony Towns, the flight to Boston was less stressful.

KAT’s current teammate, Josh Hart shared on his IG Story that the ex-Wolves center blessed his teammates with a special gift. It looks like Towns gifted his Knicks squad with a Nintendo Switch gaming console. Happy with the kind gesture, Hart captioned his Story: “What a guy” and tagged Karl-Anthony Towns.

At least now the New York based team could divert their minds from the pressure of the Regular Season. However, it wouldn’t be that easy especially because their rookie power forward Precious Achiuwa has been sidelined with a strained hamstring. But, with Karl-Anthony Towns playing in the same position, the lights of hope aren’t so dim yet.
