Amid this situation, the team’s cornerstone Jalen Brunson headed to the locker room in the late end of the third quarter, putting the Big Apple side in an uncertain spot, as father Rick Brunson rushed behind him.

With less than three minutes left in the third quarter, Brunson checked out and headed to the locker room. Reportedly, the star guard took a blow to his lower back earlier in the game. Importantly, the situation seemed beyond control when Rick Brunson, the assistant coach also headed to the locker room. Moreover, the guard didn’t return to the floor even after 5 minutes into the last quarter.

Fortunately, as per the latest update, the star has returned to the bench wearing support around his lower back. Notably, he is available to return for the rest of the game.
