What Happened to Jalen Brunson? Ugly Incident With Goga Bitadze Forces Knicks Star to Come Off vs Magic
Is Jalen Brunson all right? That question would be on the minds of attendees at Madison Square Garden, as the matchup between the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic continues to be underway. Since mid-November, Brunson has been associated with some form of injury, which has limited his on-court appearances slightly. Amid concerns about his right calf tightness, it may have been a relief for fans to learn that the star player would be present during the ongoing home game. However, after what happened recently, they may have wished that the player would have continued being sidelined.
Earlier today, it was reported that Jalen Brunson was poked in the eye by Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze. The incident occurred as 7:26 minutes remained in the 3 quarter. The condition is now serious enough that he had to be substituted by Cam Payne. Brunson exited the game after having been on the court for 25 minutes, and scoring 16 points along with 3 assists.
