MANHATTAN — It’s been 10 years since the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers made their respective playoffs at the same time. Madison Square Garden is buzzing with fans eager to see their teams reach the finals, and local businesses are feeling the excitement too.

Near the Garden the owner of Tracks Sports Bar is seeing an increase in sales, especially on game night. It’s the same for Pizza Suprema that sees the restaurant “packed with jerseys.”

In a city known for its resilience and vibrancy, the playoff runs of the Knicks and Rangers are more than just sports events—they are a catalyst for economic activity and a source of communal pride.
