Where New York Giants rank in positional spending among rest of NFL | Sporting News

The New York Giants have been battling against the salary cap for a few years now, and the 2024 season will be no different.

Even though they got some relief from the retirement of Darren Waller, the Giants still rank in the bottom half of the league in salary-cap space.

Paying for talent is a part of the business, though, and with training camp right around the corner, we wanted to look at how the Giants stack up in their positional spending relative to the rest of the league.

The Giants find themselves in the top five at three positions: quarterback, defensive line and kicker.

We’ll be using the figures from Spotrac to see where the Giants stack up in position spending (including dead cap):
