Witness Accounts Of The Incident

Several witnesses at the scene reported a strong smell of something burning and saw flames spreading quickly. One witness tried to rescue Anastasia but was forced to leap over a barrier to escape the growing fire.

“We had to jump over it to escape. Star jumped over with me, but then she went back in to save Jacobs. It was an abusive relationship. She had told everyone before that she was going to burn his house down, that she was going to kill him. We just laughed it off,” a witness disclosed to several media outlets.

Fakhri’s Family Speaks Out

Amid the accusations, Fakhri’s mother defended her daughter, describing her as a caring person who would not commit such an act.

“I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody,” her mother stated.

The Victims’ Family Responds

Following the tragedy, Edward Jacobs’ mother shared that her son and Fakhri had ended their relationship a year ago, but she continued to pursue him. Jacobs’ mother clarified that her son and Anastasia were not romantically involved, stating, “They were friends, not lovers,” as reported by The Post.
