Yankees acquire Jazz Chisholm in trade with Marlins to bolster lineup

BOSTON – The Yankees are on the board, bringing Jazz to a lineup in need of help.

The club is acquiring outfielder/second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. in a trade with the Marlins, The Post’s Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman confirmed on Saturday.

Catching prospect Agustin Ramirez is one of the prospects headed back to Miami in the deal ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

It was not immediately clear where the Yankees plan to play Chisholm, who started the year playing center field but had recently moved back to second base.

In 58 games at Double-A Somerset, he hit .290 with 16 home runs and a .942 OPS before being bumped up to Triple-A, where he was hitting .224 with four home runs and a .693 OPS in 29 games.
