Today, the sun — moving through the final degrees of Scorpio — and Neptune join up to spark your compassion. Sometimes, you fear that being gentle will make you appear weak or easy to take advantage of. But now, your generosity will open doors, strengthen relationships, and lead to longterm rewards. Don’t try to harden your heart out of the idea that it’ll make you stronger: Lean into your kindness.
You’re full of bold ambitions and plans, but you don’t always like to talk about them. From your perspective, ideas on their own don’t count for much, until you do something with them. On one hand, you’re smart not to give yourself too much credit for work that hasn’t actually been done yet — but on the other, your dreams are valuable, too. Without them, nothing else is possible. And so if all you have the energy for today is daydreaming, that’s still enough.
The lonelier or more stressed you’ve been lately, the more you’ll be yearning for steady, supportive relationships today. Just remember that “steady” doesn’t have to mean “boring.” You need people who will reliably show up for you, but who will also bring out your creative side. You need friends you can trust, but who also encourage you to dream big. You sometimes worry that you have to choose between a supportive social circle and an interesting one, but trust now that it’s possible to have both.
It can seem like others are constantly projecting their own feelings onto you. Sometimes you worry that even your closest friends don’t see you for who you really are, instead seeing some imaginary version of you that they constructed themselves. Today could be a good day to cut through the noise and insist on being recognized for your true self. But it’s also possible that some of the beautiful qualities your friends see in you are real, and with a little self-love, you might start to notice them too.
You have sound judgment, which means that when your friends start spiraling, or when they need a reality check, they know they can turn to you. But the truth is that just because you play the role of the steady, sensible friend, that doesn’t mean you don’t have a wild, imaginative side of your own. And today, it’s time to let it out. Stop worrying so much about practicalities. Try something new, not because it’s what you think you “should” do, but simply because you want to.
Most of the time, people know exactly where they stand with you, and you with them. You prefer clarity to ambiguity, and you’d rather have a direct (if potentially awkward conversation) than have to wonder how somebody feels about you. Today, though, relationships might feel a bit confusing no matter what you do. Other people seem more mysterious than ever, full of surprises. You could choose to get frustrated by this, but try instead to enjoy it. It means you haven’t yet learned everything there is to know about the people you love.
It’s easy to be suspicious of other people’s motives, even — or especially — when they’re offering unexpected support or kindness. You’ve experienced enough of life to know that human beings can be selfish, that generosity often comes with strings attached, and that it pays to move through the world with a healthy amount of skepticism. But today, try to accept the good things that come your way, and remember that just because people aren’t always good, they have their moments.
It’s necessary to go on auto-pilot sometimes. There are way too many decisions in a day to think deeply about every single one of them; it helps to be able to fall back on routines, or to look at what everyone else is doing and follow suit. Today, though, slow down a bit so that you can act more intentionally. The goal is to live in a way that you can be proud of; it might make you seem different from the people around you, but that’s not a bad thing.
You’re a great listener: While some people tend to interrupt, constantly jumping in with unsolicited advice or opinions, you truly pay attention. Occasionally, though, you hold back even when you have valuable ideas to contribute, and when your friends genuinely want your input. Today, especially, don’t hesitate to step in, ask questions, and share your own perspective. While there are times when quietly listening is the best thing you can offer, right now, be more generous with your own ideas.
Sometimes, it seems necessary to harden your heart to the world. It’s not that you want to be callous or cruel, you just worry that if you were to truly acknowledge and empathize with all the suffering in the world, it would be unbearable. Right now, though, do your best to let your defenses fall. The more deeply you let yourself feel, the stronger your heart will get, and the more clarity you’ll have about where to go from here.
It’s one thing to be bored by the world around you — but lately, you’ve started to get bored by yourself. Your own habits get on your nerves, your own thought processes seem dull and predictable. But it’s possible to change that today, not by pushing yourself to work harder and be “better,” but by taking your foot off the gas. Spend time hanging out with your friends, and talking about nothing in particular. Let other people’s quirks and ideas influence you, and everything will seem more interesting again.
You’re good at presenting a cool and confident image, but underneath it, you’re much more sensitive than most people realize. A big part of you wishes you didn’t take things so personally, that you could feel as tough and unbothered as you appear to others. But today, you’ll be reminded that your sensitivity is also a gift. It helps you to treat others thoughtfully, and to notice when you’re acting in ways that don’t align with your values. Don’t try to suppress your soft side: It’s got valuable information to share, if only you’ll listen.
It can be important to think clearly and critically about your needs, your goals, your future plans. Sometimes, though, that gets stressful. There’s too much pressure to be a go-getter, to figure out your entire life. Today, take a break from worrying about your personal ambitions. The world’s too unpredictable for you to have complete control over your trajectory anyway, so instead of fretting about whether you’re on the “right” path, trust that you’re in the process of finding your way.
